Christmas 2011

I can't believe I'm just getting around to posting our Christmas blog and it's March!  Things have been crazy around here in a great way but I'm glad to be back blogging about my sweet Holly Anne!

We had a wonderful Christmas and got to see all of our family....SO special!

Merry Christmas from our Family of Three!
(soon to be four!)

Christmas Eve Morning

I couldn't resist taking this picture....this is where we find Holly most every morning!
I just love that she enjoys her books so much!
Polar Bear and Brown Bear have been favorites of hers for a while now....I finally had to get the hard back books because they had received way too much love!  ;)
She likes to point out where all the animals are on this page....I love watching her learn!
Miros (Holly's nanny) and her daughter dropped by during the afternoon and brought sweet gifts for Holly!  What a treat!  I love Holly's expression here....taking her gift to Miros!
 loving these mittens!
 this firetruck is fun, too....
 And these drum sticks....
What fun to be a toddler!!
Holly loves to sit in Grandpa's lap while he reads to her!
I could not have hosted Christmas Eve dinner without my moms help!!
 My sweetheart!
Holly all dressed up for Christmas Eve dinner
 Christmas Day~good morning sunshine!
We went to Granpas Christmas morning and Holly loved her "say please and thank you tea set" that Mimi got her!  It's actually one of Holly's favorites along with the "Quiet Loud" book Mimi got her.  Both so fitting coming from Mimi!
( I do have to say I had them on Holly's Amazon wish list but I just love that Mimi picked them out of the bunch)  ;)
On the way to Grandma Cheryl's!  Enoying a new book from Santa
 Loves the Christmas tree!
And her cousin, Jack of course!  Trying to give hime a kiss! ;)
They were too cute opening gifts!
 Time to go to bed?!?!?
It's been a long day!  She was such a trooper through all of our travels!

What a perfect Christmas!  It's our last Christmas as a family of three and we enjoyed it so much sharing it through the eyes of our sweet Holly Anne!

We love you to the moon and back sweet love!

The "Reveal!"

~We feel so blessed to announce that we are expecting again....March 21st~

We decided to "find out" this time but thought we would still make it fun~After our doctor visit, we were given a sealed envelope with the sex of the baby in it...very tempting to open I might add!!! ;) I quickly dropped it off at a bakery and asked them to make some cake balls...strawberry (for a girl) or vanilla (for a boy).  I picked them up later that day and Thomas, Holly and I met my mom, Allan, David, Robyn, Audra (Thomas's sister) and her little one, Jack and Grandma for dinner...we were so excited Audra, Jack and Grandma came in from Glen Rose and that my mom and Allan happened to be in town the day I was going to the doctor to find out!

We didn't take a lot of pictures but I think this t-shirt, PINK hat and Holly's big smile says it all!

We are all so thrilled to be having another little girl and for Holly to experience having a little sister!

She was ALL smiles this night!  (It might have something to do with her entertaining everyone with biting into these lemons and limes while we cracked up at her reactions to the tartness!)

Holly has been an amazing gift of life and to think we are about to experience life through not only the eyes of one sweet angel, but soon two, is heart filling!

See you soon sweet girl!....

Happy Halloween.....

So many to choose from.....
My sweet lil' pumpkin'!

We had a great time in Glen Rose for Halloween this year!  We enjoyed trick or treating around the Glen Rose Square and visiting the pie shop with all of her cousins.  And then a fun evening out for dinner!

So happy....she's really enjoying walking these days!

Of course we had a hard time getting a good shot of her and her adorable cousin, Jack...
but this is as good as it got....
He's a much better poser than Holly!  :) All smiles!

Poor Holly got sick Halloween day and wasn't up for getting all dressed up but she WAS up for sitting out on the front porch with mommy and daddy while we enjoyed hot chocolate and handing out treats to all the precious kiddos!  Holly LOVED putting candy in their bags!  It was pretty dang cute!
I wish I snapped a pic of her in action!

Such a sweet Halloween!

Holly's One Year Pictures

We met one of our favorite photographers (Toni Elmer-who did our engagement pictures) at a field with her fun little props to snap some pics of Holly at one year!

Toni is nothing but fun and all about color so here is little Miss Holly...shining bright!

Captured almost all of her expressions....such a fun photo shoot!
